Eleanor Vane co-founded Merrick & Vane in 1987 after five years in a large-firm corporate department, wanting to build a practice where transactional clients kept the same lead partner from the first phone call through the closing dinner. She chairs the firm’s corporate group and has led deal teams on transactions ranging from founder-led acquisitions to complex multi-jurisdictional mergers.
She currently serves on the board of a regional business development nonprofit and mentors first-generation law students through a Columbia Law School alumni program.
